Next Thames Foreshore Walks
Clayground’s special ceramics foreshore walks are ever popular. Led by Clayground and Thames archaeologist, Mike Webber, we explore the beach looking for ceramic fragments and clues they reveal to London’s social and trading history. Mike’s knowledge is encyclopaedic and the churning of the River means we always find something different and learn something new about ceramics, technical innovation, changing tastes, trade and development of the capital.
Dates for walks in 2019 are yet to be set. Simply contact us if you are interested in taking part or sign up by clicking on the orange tab at screen right. Make sure you tick the box to receive blog posts and news of walks.
